The cardan shaft is replaced by a solid shaft in the Scalax drive,

which creates revolutionary opportunities for optimisation.

With the new rotary piston, the tumbling motion of the drive power section is gone

and the bending deformation and tooth deformation of the shaft are minimised.

As a result, the Scalax drive can immediately achieve performance figures that were out of reach with previous drives:

• Starting torque > 90%
• Efficiency > 92%
• Jerk-free ramp-up

The compact construction can be adapted to every specific requirements profile.
Despite its high power capacity, the drive is very lightweight. Wear is reduced and durability is prolonged.
